Donald Louding, known professionally as DJ Hollygrove, is a New Orleans-born, Houston-based entrepreneur, philanthropist, DJ, turntablist, radio host, Grammy-nominated DJ, voting board member, and music industry executive. He has seen success throughout the music industry as a member of The Chopstars, where he served as president. He is also the Vice President of Core DJs Worldwide and can be heard on a multitude of radio stations across the nation, including Shade 45.


Known as a vital artery to the beating heart of New Orleans and Houston's music scenes, Hollygrove has helped connect artists to audiences across the nation for well over a decade. He’s helped break records for artists like MadeinTYO, New Orleans’ own Young Greatness, Megan Thee Stallion, Armani White, DJ Chose, and Beatking, just to name a few. He began his journey into music at Texas Southern University as a member of the Ocean of Soul, marching alongside Insecure’s Dominique Perry and multi-platinum producer June James.


In 2021, he received a proclamation from Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner declaring April 9th DJ Hollygrove Day in Houston. In 2022, he received a certificate of recognition from New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell. In July 2023, he received a proclamation from Councilman JP Morrell, and a month later, he was honored with the Key to the City from Mayor Cantrell, alongside Edna Karr’s band director Christopher Herrero and New Orleans rapper and entrepreneur Curren$y.
