ABOUT THE CHAPTER

While at Grambling State University, three men of music; Alfred Lewis, Jehielk Burke, and Demetrious Young came together to establish New Orleans Band Members Standing Together.The name, crafted by Alfred Lewis, drew inspiration from ideas taking shape at Southern University, reflecting shared principles of unity, discipline, and purpose that align with the foundation of Nu Phi Omicron.
